Orihuela Costa - Blue Flag Beaches

PLAYA de la ZENIA - Cala Bosque
     
A Superb beach just 20 minutes walk from the house.  In summer there are 2 beach bars and sunbeds
& sunshades for hire.  Hotel La Zenia and various restaurants overlook the beach.

CABO ROIG
  
A sheltered bay, very popular in the summer.  A small marina and nautical club is located at the
northern end of the beach.

PLAYA FLAMENCA
     
A fine white sand beach, very popular in the summer.

DEHESA de CAMPOAMOR
     
A series of small coves gives way to this beach, which is more open and with an urban feel.
Fine sand and crystal clear water, with some rocky areas ideal for diving.

MIL PALMERAS
     
A long and open beach with fine sand and clear water.  Very popular in the summer.

Torrevieja - Blue Flag Beaches

PLAYA del CURA
     
This beach is situated between Punta Margallo and the northern seawall of an important port.
It is a beach of fine golden sand, with pretty surroundings and palm trees.  Behind the beach you can
find restaurants and other tourist services.

PLAYA de los LOCOS
     
Fine golden sand, gently shelving, small waves & crystal blue sea.  Towards the north side of this
beach are a series of small coves that reach up to Cabo Cervera.  This beach has been adapted
for people with disabilities.

PLAYA de los NAUFRAGOS
     
This beach is protected by the southern seawall of the port.  There are a great range of leisure
activities in and around the beach area.  Crystal clear waters and fine almost white sand due
to the fact that in the surrounding area are Las Salinas (Salt Mines) and Laguna de Torrevieja (Salt Lake).

LA MATA
     
This is the longest beach in the Torrevieja area.  Due to its length there are around 20 different
access points to the beach, most of which are a short walk through the pine forest.  Sand dunes
made up of fine golden sand are a feature of the beach area at La Mata.

Pilar de La Horadada - Blue Flag Beaches

EL MOJON
     
Located in the southern most extreme of the Valencian Community, this is an open beach made
up of golden sands with a beautiful dune and natural Mediterranean environment.  This is a popular
area for divers.

EL PUERTO
     
Stretching from the port to Las Villas this beach of fine golden sand has a great waterfront with
many services and facilities.  A very well cared for beach, very busy in the summer.
